The registration desk is free for everyone. The vendor desk starts at $29 a month, and every new account starts with a 10-day free trial of the full desk. You put a card in to start, and nothing is charged until the trial ends.

Every paid tier is the whole vendor desk
- Invoices checked against your state's rules, with citations, before they can send
- The no-login parent page for every family
- The tracker — every claim, and which ones need a nudge
- Month-end batch and standing automation
- The Vault: records, documents, and the year-end export package
- Email delivery of packets, with honest open/submit signals
Nothing in the money loop is ever held back to sell an upgrade — paid tiers differ only in how many students you bill in a month, and your archive never counts toward it. Registration stays free: it happens before you have revenue to manage, so charging for it never made sense.

Against what the platforms already take
Depending on your rates, a 30-student roster can move somewhere around $9,000 a month through the state platforms, and ClassWallet charges vendors about 2% just to receive it. Practice, at $59, is about 0.65% of a month like that.
Against one bounced invoice
Vendors report ClassWallet processing at one week to thirty days, and a rejection restarts the clock from zero. One avoided restart on one claim roughly pays for the month.
Always free, no account
The invoice checker, the program guides, and the registration desk stay free with no signup — they’re how you find out whether esadesk is worth your money at all.
Straight answers
- What counts as a “student billed”?
- A student who appears on at least one invoice that month. Your records never count: the Vault is the permanent archive, and a price meter that pressured you to delete history would poison it.
- Why not per-invoice, or a percentage?
- Per-invoice pricing would meter the exact behavior esadesk automates, and a percentage would make esadesk one more platform taking a cut. A flat monthly price tied to roster size is the shape that stays on your side of the fee.
- How do I try the vendor desk before paying?
- Pick a plan and the first 10 days are free, with your card on file and nothing charged until the trial ends. Cancel before then and you pay nothing; sending pauses, and every draft and record stays exactly where you left it. The registration desk, the checker, and the guides stay free either way.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Sending pauses, nothing is deleted. Your records, drafts, and history stay yours to read and export, and resubscribing picks up where you left off. Manage or cancel any time from Settings — it’s Stripe’s own billing portal, not an email to support.
